Team lit up the night sky over the Han River and took first place in the competition that has run for the past two months. They toppled the US team of Atlas PyroVision in the final of the competition which as been running for 10 years. Eight teams of pyrotechnic professionals from France, China, Sweden Portugal, Poland, Viet Nam, the US and Italy battled it out for top spot over the past eight weeks. A different donation ceremony was held at the Three Gorges University’s library in Yichang City, central China’s Hubei Province on Thursday. The school’s 2018 graduate Li Chengkun with his "Chopsticks Studio" partners donated a 1:100 model library made of 30,000 recycled chopsticks in order to express gratitude to their alma mater. Li Chengkun was a civil engineering major at the universiy. In 2016, he and four classmates jointly established the "Chopsticks Studio," to make all kinds of models to enhance their hands-on skills and often donated works to auction for charity. In the second half of last year, Li spent most of his time preparing for postgraduate entrance exams in the university library. At that time, he had the idea to make a model of the library to mark his graduation. Tom Daley  and his husband Dustin Lance Black have announced the birth of their first child - named after the diver's late father. The Olympic diver, 24 and his film producer beau, 44, revealed Robert Ray was born on Wednesday in an announcement in The Times. Daley's father Robert died of a brain tumour in May 2011.   They got married in a castle wedding ceremony in May last year and announced they were having a child in February.   Robert Ray will be raised in   London   after the couple made the 'difficult' decision to choose to live in the UK despite negative reaction to their surrogacy.

The National U21 Football Championship’s qualifying round is scheduled to run from July 1 to August 11. According to the Việt Nam Football Federation, 18 teams will compete in the annual event including  Viettel, Hà Nội, Nam Định, Quảng Ninh, Sông Lam Nghệ An and defending champions Hoàng Anh Gia Lai (HAGL). Teams will be divided into four groups and they will compete in a round robin format. The best seven teams will reach the final round alongside hosts Thừa Thiên Huế. The event’s qualification will take place at various locations in a group round, while the final will be held at Tự Do Stadium in Huế on November 7-17. As Vietnamese in general tend to skip their local health facilities to go straight to central hospitals located in urban centres when they seek treatment, causing persistent overloading at these hospitals, the Government has been trying to find ways to improve the attractiveness of grassroots health care.
